Overview

The OPTIFLEX 1300 is a 2-wire (4…20 mA) guided radar level transmitter based on the Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) technology. It measures the level of solids, liquids or liquid-liquid interfaces. The guided radar has higher signal dynamics and a sharper pulse than conventional TDR devices and therefore a better repeatability and accuracy. The OPTIFLEX 1300 offers a large variety of probes to meet any application requirement.

  • High pressure and high temperature (HP/HT) versions
  • Optional second current output, e.g. for analogue level and liquid-liquid interface output
  • Metaglas® process sealing system for optimal process safety (toxic products)
  • Wetted parts made of stainless steel, Hastelloy®C or PVDF; special materials available on request (e.g. Monel®, tantalum, titanium, duplex, Inconel® 625)
  • Quick coupling system: converter is rotatable and removable under process conditions
  • Stainless steel housing for corrosive environments
  • Optional weather protection
  • Also available with remote electronics that can be mounted up to 14.5 m / 47.6 ft from the probe
  • NACE design (MR 0175 / MR 0103 / ISO 15156)
  • ESD protection (30 kV) for increased resistance to electrostatic discharges in solid applications
