Highlights

With OPTIWAVE 6500, KROHNE presents an 80 GHz radar level meter that has been specially developed for solids, powders and dusty atmospheres. Thanks to the small beam angle, it is particularly suited for continuous, non-contact level measurement in high and narrow silos, hoppers or buffer storage containers up to 100 m / 328 ft.

OPTIFLEX 6200 is a guided radar for level measurement in bulk storage and other silos up to a height of 40 m / 131.2 ft. With a wide choice of rigid or flexible monoprobes, it can be used in a wide range of applications with solids of different grain sizes – from fly ash and cement to gypsum and plastic granulates to tobacco and starch.

Electromagnetic flowmeters from KROHNE are the first choice for measuring conductive liquids from water to adhesive or abrasive mixtures. Up to DN3000 / 120¨ they offer a wide range of nominal sizes and lining materials.

Numerous processes in the bulk solids sector require compressed air. Accurate measurement of the volume generated offers optimization possibilities for compressor control, for example, or helps to detect losses in the network. As a compact all-in-one device for varying process conditions, the OPTISWIRL 4200 vortex flowmeter is ideally suited for this task.

Variable area flowmeters are also ideally suited for compressed air measurement as well as for other auxiliary applications in the bulk solids sector, and provide for simple and cost-effective flow measurement without auxiliary energy.
